Baked pear with yoghurt and granola
This baked pear with yoghurt and Sweet Honey Granola is an absolute must! Roasting the pear releases its natural sugars, making it wonderfully soft and sweet. Topped with creamy Greek yoghurt and crunchy Sweet Honey Granola, it makes for a nutritious and balanced breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 bag Sweet Honey Granola (30g)
- 1 pear
- 1 teaspoon honey
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 large tablespoons Greek yogurt (or substitute with coconut yogurt for a plant-based alternative)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cut the pear in half and remove the seeds. Place the halves in a baking dish with the cut side up.
- In a small bowl, mix the honey and cinnamon and spread this mixture over the top of the pear halves.
- Bake the pear in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until soft and golden brown.
- Remove the pear from the oven and place on a plate. Spoon a tablespoon of Greek yogurt onto each half.
- Sprinkle the yoghurt and pear with Sweet Honey Granola and serve while the pear is still warm. Enjoy!
