Strawberries, they are not only delicious but also very healthy! Strawberries are full of antioxidants, such as vitamin C and anthocyanin. The latter substance also gives the strawberry its beautiful red color.

Do you have a container of strawberries that are at the end of their rope? Strawberries that may have gotten a few dents in the shopping. Then this little recipe is perfect for it – namely, we’re making strawberry milk!
An ideal recipe for the hot summer days. Refreshing, easy and most of all delicious! You can keep the milk in the frig for a week or pour it into ice cream molds and make your own strawberry ice creams.
Muesli with strawberry milk
Ingredients
- ½ cup (120ml) milk (cow’s milk or vegetable)
- ½ cup (115g) fresh strawberries + more as a topping
- (optional) 2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
- (optional) ½ teaspoon natural vanilla extract
- 1 bag of Muesli
Preparation
Mix ½ cup strawberries with ½ cup milk, optionally add the honey or maple syrup and a little vanilla extract for sweetness.
Put the granola and a large handful of strawberries in a bowl. Pour the strawberry milk over the granola. Enjoy immediately or let soak in for 15-30 minutes.
