A warming apple crumble in a new twist.
Ingredients (2 servings)
- 2 medium apples, peeled and cut into about 1cm slices
- 3/4th cup fresh cranberries (about 75g)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon raw cane sugar or coconut blossom sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
For the crumble:
- 1 bag of Oatmeal Nature
- 1 bag of Oatmeal Apple
- 1 tablespoon raw cane sugar or coconut blossom sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (or coconut oil)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C
- Mix the apple slices, cranberries with the coconut blossom sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice in a bowl
- In a second bowl, mix together the oatmeal, sugar, cinnamon and melted butter
- Place the fruit in a baking dish. Place the oatmeal mixture on top and make a straight layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes in the oven or until the crumble turns light brown.
TIP: Serve war with yogurt or vanilla ice cream and an extra pinch of cinnamon. Enjoy!
